What is a Video Copywriter?
A Video Copywriter writes scripts for a variety of business-related videos, including commercials, product announcements, feature demos, instruction and education, etc. These videos may be posted online, sent to media outlets, included with marketing materials, or used inside corporations.
A Video Copywriter should understand video production and general principles of effective communication. Because video is so easy to create and distribute today, the demand for Video Copywriting is increasing. Most work goes to in-house corporate marketing departments or outside video production houses, though a great deal of work is farmed out to freelancers.
