What is a Technical Copywriter?
Technical Copywriters and Technical Writers are similar, though Technical Copywriting tends to deal more with marketing, while Technical Writing deals more with explaining technical matters.
A Technical Copywriter writes white papers, case studies, sales brochures, product descriptions, and other items to help sell high-tech products and service such as software, electronics, or consulting. Since most copywriters are not particularly tech-savvy, there is demand for writers who can turn complex information into simple prose.
