What is a Freelance Copywriter?
There are two ways to make a living as a copywriter. You can get a full-time copywriting job or work on your own as a Freelance Copywriter. Freelance copywriting is a form of small business, where you offer copywriting services for a fixed fee or an hourly rate.
Freelance copywriters must have the same writing skills as an employed copywriter but also know how to acquire clients, negotiate fees, juggle multiple projects, handle billing, and run a small office. While employed copywriters enjoy a guaranteed salary, Freelance Copywriters enjoy the opportunity to have a significantly higher income.
