Are you referring to the link shortener built in? Yes, that&#039;s true. It sends traffic to your blog, for example, but you won&#039;t get the SEO juice from it. This is a serious flaw, but not a reason to avoid HootSuite. I&#039;m hoping they fix this. 

If it&#039;s a problem for you, get the bit.ly sidebar link shortener. http://bit.ly/pages/tools This is an extra step and a pain, but it&#039;s a good workaround. </description>

Something to do with the HootSuite interface, and the way it goes over the web page that you are linking to.
