		<description>I think you&#039;re already following the best strategy by creating your own lists. Buying lists is fine but it will take time and money to find list that work. The list is the single most important element of direct mail, so be prepared to shell out some serious money for tests if you start buying lists.</description>

One of the most successful (recent) campaigns I did was to mail three fedex envelopes to key executives at each of my target companies.  Pretty expensive but lemme tell you I would never have reached these people that fast by trying to tweet my way in. :) One question I have - I&#039;ve always developed my own prospect lists (either via offers/forms on my website or other means) but I&#039;m considering buying lists to grow my business faster (i.e. from sites like usadata.com, greatmailinglists.com, etc.) Wondering what kind of results I can expect if I pursue this route?  Would be grateful for any data you can provide.  Thanks!</description>
